Keeping an accessible cash reserve for emergencies or sudden financial opportunities is a wise tactic. Ameriprise Financial offers a range of fixed-term products that may be able to help you earn more on the money you save, with generally higher interest rates than a regular checking or savings account would pay.
Principal protection and low investment minimums
These are securities that are defined and regulated by the Investment Company Act of 1940. Ameriprise face-amount certificates offer principal protection and low investment minimums, in addition to guaranteed rates on some of the products. Ameriprise face-amount certificates provide the safety and liquidity you need, with a competitive return for your money.
